SiteSee Pittsburgh is this blogger’s attempt to explore her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by visiting the sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are currently 205 sites listed in Allegheny County, and the list continues to grow.
As I explore, I hope to find more things to investigate in Pittsburgh: neighborhood histories, hidden gems, public artwork, like the mural above (The Two Andys by Thomas Mosser and Sarah Zeffiro). I will document and photograph all of Pittsburgh’s dirty little secrets and share them here with you.
